It’s Official! Following a 20 year run with there iconic logo and monogram,  a new identity is emerging.  As part of the British brand’s new identity under chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci the look and feel of the brand is launching a new look which features the initials of founder Thomas Burberry. “TB” interlocked with a camel-honey colored background with rich hued orange. The logo was inspired from an 1908 Burberry logo which is in the design house archive.

The move comes five months after Tisci replaced Christopher Bailey as Burberry’s chief creative office. The 47-year-old designer worked with Peter Saville, a British art director and graphic designer who has worked for other fashion houses including Calvin Klein.

And so we wait to see more of Burberry’s new look. Will it be the new look for handbags, or inspire the lining of the classic trench coat? Only time will tell. In the meantime, the jury is still out on the new look. I plan to keep loving the pieces I own and will keep an open mind to the new.
